The Housing and Transportation Committee focuses on the housing and transportation needs of Marin’s diverse older adult population. It supports quality affordable housing, including home ownership, rental housing, subsidized housing, senior housing, and Long-Term Care facilities.
The committee also advocates for and promotes safety, accessibility and walkability in the built environment, volunteer driving programs and local transportation services, including accessible transportation and paratransit, while educating the public about how to use and access those resources.
