Niccore Tyler is a Bay Area native with more than 20 years of experience in government service. She brings a strong background in civil engineering and business, with a bachelor’s degree from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of San Francisco.
Before joining Marin County, Niccore worked in Solano County. There, she led programs in:
- Administrative services
- Equity and civil rights
- Whole Person Care
- Federally Qualified Health Center in Vallejo
- Healthy Families America
- Mental Health Services Act
She uses her wide range of experience to support thoughtful decision-making and build strong relationships with the community.
Niccore also takes part in several regional efforts to advance equity and health, including:
- Bay Area Social Services Consortium (BASSC)
- Bay Area Regional Health Inequities Initiative (BARHII)
- Government Alliance for Race and Equity (GARE)
Earlier in her career, she served for 10 years as a civil engineer in the Planning Department at East Bay Municipal Utility District.
Niccore believes in growing leadership at all levels and supporting change that leads to real, positive impact. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
