The chart below has three pages:

  1. Number of individuals exiting to permanent supportive housing by Month
  2. Number of homeless veterans housed
  3. Number of individuals exiting to permanent supportive housing by year

Marin County progress by population since 2018

Chronic homelessness

  • 924 chronically homeless individuals have been housed through Permanent Supportive Housing, 6 in March.

     

Veteran homelessness

  • 140 homeless veterans have been housed, 0 in March.
  • Approximately 10 homeless veterans remain.

 

Family homelessness

  • 291 homeless families have been housed, 3 in March.
  • Approximately 36 sheltered and 9 unsheltered homeless families are in Marin.

 

*Marin County's local definition of Chronic Homelessness is more broad than Federal HUD guidelines, which is why our 2024 Point in Time Count of 217 Chronically Homeless individuals is a smaller count and reflects those standards.

Data represents Coordinated Entry efforts since October 1, 2017 and were updated as of 4/13/2026.
