Community Resource Guide

Document last updated on Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Summary

We hope this guide makes it easier to find the support, services, and connections you need. You don't have to do it alone - we're here to help. This Resource Guide is designed to be easy to navigate, whether you know exactly what you're looking for or you're just starting to explore available services.

  • Browse by main category: If you’re looking for something that falls under one of the main categories, such as Caregiving or Healthcare, check the table of contents for the start page of each main category. Each main category section is also color-coded.
  • Brouse by subcategories: To browse for something a little more specific, turn to the subcategory index located at the back of the guide.
  • Use the general index: If you already know the name of the organization or business you’re looking for, head to the index at the back of the guide. Listings are organized alphabetically to help you locate them easily.
  • Not sure where to start? You’re not alone. At the beginning of each section, we’ve included helpful tips and guidance developed in consultation with our trusted community organizations. These suggestions are designed to help you get oriented and figure out which resources might be most relevant to you or your loved one.
  • Need help? Marin One Door — a partnership between Marin County’s Area Agency on Aging and the Marin Center for Independent Living — is here to provide personal help navigating resources and getting connected to services.
