About this service
Youth behavioral health services are provided through Marin County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services and include assessment, therapy, case management, psychiatric support, and coordinated behavioral health services for children, youth, and their families in Marin County who are on Medi-Cal or are uninsured, including people with co-occurring substance use conditions.
Services are designed to support infants, children, adolescents, and transition-age youth who are experiencing mild to severe behavioral health needs, including those with complex needs requiring intensive community-based support.

Details
Youth and Family Services Outpatient Behavioral Health
The Youth and Family Services program serves children and families who experience significant impairments in daily functioning secondary to behavioral health conditions. Services include individual and family therapy, intensive case management, medication services, wraparound support, parent coaching and parenting classes In partnership with Marin County Social Services, YFS provides intensive care coordination and intensive home-based services for foster care youth with behavioral health needs. The Child Medication Clinic provides medication services and support for children and youth on site.

- Case management and care coordination

- Community- and field-based behavioral health support for youth with more intensive needs
