OD Free Marin brings community partners together to prevent overdose deaths in Marin County. The initiative connects people to overdose prevention resources—such as naloxone and fentanyl test strips—shares local overdose data, and provides a treatment locator and education to reduce harm and save lives.
Who this service is for
OD Free Marin is for:
- People in Marin County who are worried about their own or someone else’s substance use and want prevention resources or information.
- Community members and partner organizations interested in overdose prevention, education, and harm reduction.
- People seeking naloxone, fentanyl test strips, local overdose data, or treatment referral information.
- Residents who want to get involved in community action—including youth aged 11–25 who can join the Youth Action Team.

Action Teams and membership
OD Free Marin supports community involvement through three Action Teams:
- Education & Outreach — community awareness and trainings
- Youth Action Team — youth-led prevention work (ages 11–25)
- Intervention, Treatment & Recovery — expanding access to treatment and reducing stigma
