New Report from HCC: The Moment to Move Forward
The Moment to Move Forward summarizes the current state of youth and young adult (YYA) homelessness in Marin County through a mixed methods approach combining data analysis with input from youth, service providers, and community stakeholders.
The report finds the response system is still developing, with improved coordination from recent investments, but ongoing challenges remain, including limited youth-specific housing, barriers to employment and income, transportation issues, and uneven access to services.
Marin County will use the results of this report to support continued development of a coordinated response to YYA homelessness.
