Access the Family Urgent Response System for foster youth

Need to know

  • The Family Urgent Response System (FURS) is a Free 24/7/365 Hotline for current or former foster youth and their caregivers to call and get immediate help for any big or small issues you may be having.
  • FURS also has a local Mobile Response Team of caring and trained individuals that can come directly to where you are to help you solve problems and connect you to local services and support.
  • FURS services are for YOU, are voluntary, and are driven by your input on how they can be the support team you need.

Before you start

  • You must be the youth or the caregiver of a youth who is currently or used to be in foster care.
  • Be ready to explain your situation to the hotline screener.

What to do

  1. Call or Text: 833-939-3877 (FURS)
